Great news! Wesley Homes Bradley Park has received building permits for both the Lodge and Brownstone.
Future residents of Wesley Homes Bradley Park, the Bradley Park Pioneers, are eager to see progress on their new future homes. The building permits have now been approved by the City of Puyallup, and the vision can now become a reality.
“We’re grateful to the city for working with us to approve the permits, and we’re looking forward to providing residents in East Pierce County a new option for senior living with a full continuum of care on one campus,” said Wesley Homes President & CEO Kevin Anderson.
Absher Construction started work on the site in March of this year when we received our civil permit for site work. Before building could begin, the site had to be cleared and graded, retention ponds dug out and utilities like water, sewer and power go in.
“We received the building permit for the 32 unit Brownstone in July, which allowed us to get started on that part of the campus,” said Kevin. “The team was ready to go when we received the permit for the Lodge and were pouring concrete the same day.”
With construction underway, walls are already going up for the Brownstone’s underground garage. For safety and security, no one is allowed on the site except the construction crew but you can see new photos of the construction on our Facebook page. Wesley staff will post photos regularly to this page so those interested can follow the progress.
The first phase of construction includes the Brownstone and Lodge apartments as well as catered living and assisted living memory care. In the second phase, another Brownstone and a care center with private rooms are planned offering skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
“When Bradley Park is completed, we’ll have the full continuum of care for seniors that East Pierce County needs,” Kevin added. “It will also bring almost 100 full- and part-time jobs to the Puyallup area.”
Those interested in Brownstone and Lodge accommodations are encouraged to choose their apartments now. Pioneers moving into the Brownstone apartments have the opportunity to customize their new home by selecting options in flooring, countertops, paint and more.
The deadline for customizations in the Brownstone is October 31st, so it’s not too late to make a reservation!
