Wesley Homes buys TLC home care
In a deal that closed on July 20 2007, Wesley Homes Community Health Services (WHCHS), a not-for-profit private duty home health agency purchased the Seattle office of TLC, Staffbuilders. ¡§The purchase of TLC allows us to expand our services to those who qualify for Medicare home health services,¡¨ said Kathy Matteson, Executive Director of (WHCHS). ¡§As a non-profit, mission based organization, this is a terrific fit for our company.¡¨
Wesley Homes Community Health Services was formed in 2003 as a subsidiary corporation of Wesley Homes, a not-for-profit organization that now owns and operates two retirement communities in South King County. ¡§Serving private pay home health clients has been a great addition to our mission,¡¨ commented Kevin Anderson, President and CEO of Wesley Homes. ¡§Adding a Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency allows us to serve an even broader group of older adults in their own homes throughout King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.¡¨
The new Medicare certified home health agency will be called Wesley Homes at Home and has an office in the Northgate area north of Seattle and in Des Moines just south of Sea Tac International Airport.
